2. Why we charge monthly maintenance

Many Kenyan products sell a one-time fee because they are offline desktop programs: one PC, no shared multi-user cloud, and no ongoing hosting cost for the vendor. SightOps is different — it is cloud-based. Your team can sign in from permitted devices; data is stored and processed on infrastructure we operate; we ship fixes and features without shipping new installers.

The maintenance fee keeps the service available, secure, and improving. If maintenance lapses, access may be suspended after notice, subject to our Terms of Service.

Pay annually in advance and receive two months free (pay ten months, use twelve) unless a different promotion is stated in writing.

4. Retail Solo vs Retail Pro (feature reservation)

Retail Solo is our most affordable maintenance tier: intended to make SightOps usable for a single small pharmacy with honest limits (users, products, reports). It is designed for owners who can self-setup using tutorials.

Retail Pro is our recommended single-branch tier. It includes the full retail capability we reserve for paying customers: higher limits, extended reports, eTIMS-ready workflows (where enabled for your organisation), and priority support. Features marked as Pro-only on the pricing page are not entitlement on Solo.

We may change tier limits or feature allocation with reasonable notice; published caps at signup apply to your organisation record.

5. One-time setup fees (optional)

Setup is optional. Self-setup is free. Paid setup packages are quoted on the pricing page and may vary by location or complexity.

6. Training fees (optional)

Training does not include maintenance. Failure to purchase training does not reduce your maintenance obligation.

8. Trials and demos

Trials are time-limited, capped, and not for production reliance. We may convert or require purchase of a paid tier to continue after trial.

9. Taxes and invoices

List prices are VAT-exclusive unless your invoice states otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

10. Changes to prices

We may update list prices or this policy. Material changes to maintenance for existing paying customers will be communicated with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless your separate contract says otherwise.

11. Refunds

Maintenance is generally non-refundable for elapsed periods. One-time setup/training fees are non-refundable once delivery has started, except where required by law or stated in a written offer.
